THE JOURNEY BEGINS

The Bhagwan Mahavir Jain Relief Foundation Trust was registered on 12th June 2009.

The very first dialysis was done on 21st July 2009 at the Mahavir Hospital and Research Centre.

In July 2009, sixteen dialyses were performed.

Coupons were handed out to patients (dialysis and medicines) at ‘Vardhman’, our registered office at Jambagh.

JAGRATI – AN AWAKENING

• ‘Jagrati – an Awakening’ event at the Lalitha Kala Thoranam.
• By December 2010, the Government of Andhra Pradesh (pre-bifurcation) issued a G.O. granting the BMJRFT rent-free space in the District Government Hospital at King Koti, Hyderabad.
• 225 patients registered

THE TRUST’S FIRST DIALYSIS FACILITY

• The BMJRFT inaugurates its first own dialysis centre at the King Koti District Government Hospital, a heritage building — part of the ‘King Koti Palace’ — which was at one time used by the Nizam of Hyderabad for official and ceremonial purposes. The first dialysis was carried out in the presence of Dr. P.V. Ramesh, IAS, Special Chief Secretary, HM&FW.
  • The District Collector of Hyderabad, Shri Natarajan Gulzar attended the coupon distribution programme.
